I am experimenting with different versions of the story. It began as an evolving DnD-style narrative, written step by step, sometimes with rich sensory detail at every stage. I realize that can feel a bit overwhelming, so I have started shortening some chapters. In time, I may also merge certain chapters together, which may suit the story better overall.
